The Kelderman family have a close association with Bunbury Catholic College spanning more than 40 years. Five children, four daughters and a son, were all educated at our school. The Kelderman Award for Excellence was first presented in 1991 by Mrs Trish Kelderman’s husband, the late Joseph Kelderman. Mr Kelderman had enormous faith in the potential of young people and their achievements, and he wanted to be able to acknowledge the student on our campus who had gained the highest score in Year 12. The 2023 Kelderman Award was presented to Ebonee Griffin by ex-student Elizabeth Harper, nee Kelderman.

Our highest performing VET students, Abbie Field and Logan Turner (pictured), were presented with VET Awards by Mrs Maria Trovato representing the BCC Ex-Students’ Association.
